Last year, Stern and Woo made All-Patriot Division as singles players and Chandra was part of the all-division first doubles team.
“It’s a credit to her that she worked her way up through the ranks and stuck with it.”Holly just started playing tennis last year and, no doubt, she’s our most-improved player.
“Emily was a soccer player and she decided to switch to tennis. The whole family plays tennis. Her two brothers, Dan and James, played on the boys side here,” said Schmitt who just completed his fifth year as girls coach and will enter his eighth with the boys next spring.
“We lost three matches in the league. That’s what did it. But the girls played hard.”
